![]() Ohhh lahhh lahhh. My inbox is HEATED. And, I love it! When I sent out that email about closing your kitchen in around 10 minutes, I got two very different kinds of responses. And keep reading, because I’m going to explain exactly what I mean by “10 minutes,” what I do not mean, and why this is actually possible once your kitchen is Frum Minimalized. |
But first, let’s talk about the emails. The first kind of response was from women saying things like: “OMG yes!! I finally got there!” “This is exactly what changed after taking your course.” “I never thought my kitchen could reset so fast.” “My kitchen reset is finally so much easier.” “Thank you for teaching this. It’s actually possible now.” And I was like… YESSSSS. This is exactly why I teach this. Some of these women took the Home Reset Bootcamp. Some read my book. Some have been following Frum Minimalism for a while and finally got to that point where their kitchen is simple, and for some, this is just intuitive. (Good for them!!!) |
But, I also got the other kind of response.Women writing: “Ellie. HOW is that possible?” “My kitchen takes 45 minutes.” “Mine takes an hour.” “Snacks and lunches alone take me 10 minutes.” And oiyyy. I sooo feel you!! And, I need you to know something. |
Story Time☕I was exactly like you. Yes, really. A bunch of years ago, before I became a Frum Minimalist, I was the one messaging my mother and my friends like: This is crazy. This is not normal. Why does it take me an hour every single night to reset my kitchen? This is exhausting. And it was exhausting. It was not normal. And here’s the crazy part. I was not messy. I was actually very organized. I was not some hoarder with piles and piles of stuff everywhere. I was a neat, capable, organized mom with simply too much to manage. And then I got rid of about 70% of the stuff in my kitchen. Yes. Seventy percent. And ladies, I know I sound like a broken record. Here she goes again. Ellie telling us to get rid of things. Get rid of it. Get rid of it. Get rid of it. But really!!! That IS the solution. You cannot quickly reset a kitchen that has way too much stuff in it. |
Let me clarify something. When I say your kitchen reset can take around 10 minutes, I am not talking about deep cleaning your kitchen. I am not talking about scrubbing the oven. I am not talking about organizing drawers. I am talking about a nightly reset in a simplified kitchen. A kitchen where everything has a home, the counters are clear, there are not 900 extra things in the way, the family knows the basic expectations, and the kids are helping in age-appropriate ways. Because yes. If they eat the food, use the dishes, take the snacks, open the fridge, and live in the house… They can help. We are raising capable human beings. Not people who eat and disappear. |
And if you are thinking:“Okay, Ellie, I want this. I want my kitchen to reset quickly. I want my kids to help. I want my evenings back. But I do not know how to get there.” That is literally why I created the Home Reset Bootcamp. I walk you through it step by step. Room by room. Decision by decision. You get the plan. You get the order. You get the support. You get the community. You get the push when you need it. And you get to do it with other women who are also getting rid of the stuff, simplifying their homes. |
If they eat the food, use the dishes, take the snacks, open the fridge, and live in the house…They can help. |
Let me ask you something (actually, a lot of somethings)How much would you pay to get your evenings back? How much would you pay to close your kitchen in 10 minutes and be DONE? How much would you pay to wake up to a kitchen that feels ready? How much would you pay to have your children actually help because they know where things go? How much would you pay to stop feeling like you are the only one carrying the whole house? How much would you pay to not feel stressed by your own home every single night? For most women, that is priceless. You cannot even put a real price on that. A home that is easy to manage is priceless. But my course is not priceless. The Home Reset Bootcamp is a real, step-by-step course that teaches you exactly how to simplify your home so it becomes easier to clean, easier to maintain, easier for your family to help in, and easier to live in. And I was not planning on doing a whole promotion from this kitchen reset conversation. Really. I was just talking about kitchens. But the emails keep coming in. And I keep thinking: These women do not need another kitchen tip. They need the full reset. So, I’m doing something super duper EXTRA special!!! |
Special bonuses for this week only! For anyone who joins the Home Reset Bootcamp because of this email, I’m including these bonuses for free: Raising Minimalist KidsValue: $50Because once your home is Frum Minimalized, your kids can actually learn how to help maintain it. 2-Part Meal Planning WorkshopValue: $97Because meals can be sooo easy when your kitchen is minimalized. How to Clean Your Decluttered Home EasilyValue: $37Because once your home is actually decluttered, cleaning is faster. That is $184 in free bonuses with the Home Reset Bootcamp. They go perfectly with the course. First, you Frum Minimalize your home. Then you teach your kids how to help maintain it. Then you simplify meals. Then cleaning becomes quicker and easier because your entire home is not fighting you every step of the way. |
I Don't Have Time!So please do not read this email and say: “Ehhh, I just don’t have the time.” This is why you don’t have time. Because you have too much. And please do not read this email and say: “I don’t have money for this.” This is why you are spending so much money. Because clutter costs money. Cleaning help. Organizing help. More takeout. Extra groceries. Extra clothing. More bins. More systems. More help just to survive the house. And please do not read this email and say: “I already take parenting classes.” This is why parenting feels so hard. Because your kids cannot help in a house that is too full for them to manage. And please do not read this email and say: “I already read all the shalom bayis books.” This is why shalom bayis feels so hard. Because when there is too much stuff, there is too much to fight about. This is why Frum Minimalism is foundational. Because when your home is easier to live in, your marriage gets easier, your parenting gets easier, cleaning gets easier, meals get easier, and you stop fighting with your house all day. Don’t you see it? This is not just about a kitchen. This is the foundation. |
When your home is easier to live in, your marriage gets easier, your parenting gets easier, cleaning gets easier, meals get easier. |
The 10 Min Breakdown:Okay. Now here is the full 10-minute kitchen reset breakdown. And before you yell at me through your screen, remember: This is for a kitchen that has already been Frum Minimalized. Put away the food: 1–2 minutes maxDinner should ideally be cooked in one dish, maximum two. You are putting away the leftovers, covering the pan, putting the salad back in the fridge, and moving on. And honestly, you should not always be drowning in leftovers if you planned your meals properly, unless your family likes leftovers and that is part of your system. I teach about this in the Meal Planning Workshop. Clear the table: about 1 minuteAfter dinner, everyone should already be bringing in their own plate, cup, and cutlery. So when you clear the table, you are not clearing an entire restaurant. Maybe there is a stray fork, a serving bowl, or a napkin. Then wipe it down. Wash dishes or load the dishwasher: about 4 minutesThis is usually one or two pots or pans, a couple of serving spoons, and whatever did not already get cleared. Now yes, if you do not use disposables, do not have a dishwasher, and everyone leaves all their dishes for you, this will take longer. But that is exactly the point. The system has to change. If kids are old enough to use dishes, they are old enough to help bring them in, rinse them, load them, or have some kind of job. Put away whatever clean dishes you canIf you have time, do it. If not, this is not the main part of the reset. The main thing is that the kitchen is usable and ready for the morning. Wipe the counters: 30 secondsBecause your counters should already be clear. If wiping the counters takes 10 minutes, that means the counters are being used as storage. And that is not a wiping problem. That is a stuff problem. Sweep or quick-mop the floor: 1–2 minutesA quick sweep, wet vac, Swiffer, or spot mop. Fill water bottles: 8 seconds if it is just yoursKids should do this themselves if they are old enough. This is not your job if they can do it. Prepare snacks/lunches for tomorrowAgain, kids should be helping with this, and the system should be simple. If making snacks and lunches takes 10 minutes by itself, that tells me there may be too many decisions involved, or the system is not set up yet. Take out garbage: 1 minuteTie it. Take it out. Done. Put out clean hand towels: 8 seconds Turn off kitchen lights: 3 secondsAnd then the kitchen is closed. So yes. All of this can absolutely be around 10 minutes in a simplified kitchen with a clear system and everyone helping. And if that sounds too good to be true, I get it. I used to think that too. So did my students. Until we realized it only sounds too good to be true because we were managing too much. But once your kitchen is actually simplified, you realize: Oh. I got this. This is easy. And if you want me to walk you through exactly how to get your home to that point, step by step, room by room, join the Home Reset Bootcamp. Your home does not need to feel this hard. And you do not need to keep organizing the same stuff forever. Seriously. Just get rid of it. |
So, come join me inside the Home Reset Bootcamp. I am waiting for you to seriously, get rid of it. Warmly,![]() |
