Closet Declutter in 10 Minutes: If You Are Going Away - Read This!

If you've been following my journey for some time, you're likely accustomed to my unconventional ideas!

Brace yourselves for this one—it's a bit out there, but trust me, it's fantastic, and it truly delivers results!

Are you in search of a swift and uncomplicated route to minimalism and decluttering?

After sorting through everything you plan to take with you—refer to my packing tips articles for assistance—get rid of what's left in your closet.

Seriously.

Yes, you read that correctly!

Whether you're embarking on a week-long trip or, for those of you traveling from Israel, potentially a month or longer, now is an excellent opportunity to significantly declutter your closet.

I guarantee you'll feel immensely liberated. This is a wonderful chance to truly embrace minimalism!

Allow me to break it down for you:

1. Pack with Purpose: Start by packing only what you need. For packing and capsule wardrobe advice see these series. This step is pivotal—it lays the foundation for your extreme decluttering.

2. Evaluate Your Closet: Once you've packed, take a moment to survey your closet with fresh eyes. The items remaining are unnecessary for your trip, but let's delve deeper. Ask yourself, "Do I truly need these items in my LIFE if I don't need them now?"

3. The Garbage Bag Fun: Grab a garbage bag, and let go! If you're not shlepping the items with you while you travel, then seriously, you really don't need them! so—into the bag it goes!

As you zip up your suitcase and gaze upon your now practically empty closet, take a moment to savor the simplicity you’ve created!

how easy was that???

Remember, minimalism isn’t about having less for the sake of it; it’s about making space for what truly matters.

Happy decluttering, and may your Pesach be filled with joy and may we meet in Yerushalayim with the Geula Shleima!
