Hi Friends,
Here’s a question I’ve been getting a lot this week:
“What’s your advice for taking advantage of the new year, January 2025?”
Let’s address the facts: this isn’t our new year. It’s a painful reminder that we’re still in galus. Celebrating the secular calendar feels a bit off, right? But guess what? We can still use this time as a tool to move forward and make it meaningful!
Oh, and before we dive in—Happy Chanukah! ✨🕎 May we see Mashiach speedily in our days, amen!
Goals: Why They Matter 🎯
Alright, let’s talk GOALS! 🏆And no, I’m not here to tell you to write down a bunch of dreams and hope for the best. I’m about practical, doable, real-life steps.
This is a topic I’m deeply passionate about and love teaching in my workshops! 💖 Seeing my students reach their goals gives me so much joy, and I’d love to hear about your successes too! ✨
Speaking of goals, I’ve got BIG news! 🚨I’m running a MASSIVE SALE on my Minimalist Makeover Course before its relaunch in 2025, iy”H!
📉 40% OFF right now—seriously, this is insane! This deal has never been done before, and it’s the perfect time to grab it. Why? Because this course will cut your Pesach cleaning by up to two-thirds this year!
Don’t just walk—RUNNNN to grab it before the sale ends! 🏃♀️Use code: 40percentoff at checkout.
What’s a Goal?
A goal is anything that pushes you to take action. It’s not about what you’re already doing—it’s about stepping up and moving forward!
Examples of Goals:
Starting a new fitness routine. 🏋️♀️
Saving up for something big. 💰
Learning a new skill. 🎨
What’s NOT a Goal?
Routine tasks don’t count! Brushing your teeth, making your bed, or auto-saving money? Those are habits, not goals.
Why Goals Matter
Imagine walking blindfolded—that’s life without goals. You’re wandering aimlessly!
As Zig Ziglar famously said:"If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time."
So let’s set some goals and make this year count!
How to Set Goals That Work
Big goals can feel overwhelming, so let’s break them into bite-sized pieces:
Yearly Goal: What’s your big focus for 2025? Write it down. 📝
Quarterly Goals: Divide it into four manageable parts.
Monthly Goals: Focus on what you can achieve in the next 30 days.
Weekly Goals: Zoom in—what’s realistic for this week?
Daily Tasks: Pick a few Most Important Tasks (MITs) each day.
Example: Writing a Book
Yearly Goal: Write and publish. 📚
Quarter 1: Draft the first half.
Month 1: Outline and start writing.
Week 1: Write the first chapter.
Daily Task: Spend 30 minutes writing each day.
Let’s Do This! Your Challenge 🎉
Here’s your challenge for this week:
Write down ONE big goal for 2025.
Break it into smaller steps (just Q1 is fine for now).
Choose your first MIT and start today!
Remember, you don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start.
Wishing you a meaningful, productive year and a joyful Chanukah! 🕎✨
Let me know what your big goal is—I’d love to cheer you on!
P.S. If you haven’t read my book Frum Minimalism, you can order it now on Amazon or grab a copy from Shanky’s in Romema and select locations across Israel. 📚✨ It’s packed with tips and strategies to help you simplify your life and home! 😊
