![]() Hello Frum Minimalist's!A Few Quick Announcements Before Today’s Email 💛Quick heads-up before today’s email: This one is long. Like… LONG 😅 I’ve been getting so many questions, and instead of answering everyone privately (and sending a million emails), I decided to put everything here in one place. If you understand email strategy and you’re thinking, “Ellie, this feels very backwards,” you can totally tell me. I’m just trying not to clutter up your inbox. Also, just so you know, or every one person who emailed me a question, about 100 people had the same question and didn’t ask. So even if you didn’t email… I’m pretty sure I’m answering you too 🙂 One quick note before you keep reading: Yes, this email has a lot of “go do this” stuff (aka CTAs). You don’t need to do or check out everything right now. Save this email. Come back to it. |

Okay… FINALLY. Time for today’s hock 👇“Out of Sight, Out of Mind”?You’ve heard the saying, right? Out of sight, out of mind. It’s what we tell ourselves as we shove things into closets, stack bins in the basement, or push boxes as far back into the garage as humanly possible. And for a minute… it feels good. But here’s the truth: Clutter you can’t see is still clutter. It’s still there. It’s still taking up space. And it’s still on your mind, whether you realize it or not. I see this all the time. STORY TIMEI once worked with a client who had a huge basement. Bigger than most people’s apartments. When we first went down there, she laughed and said, “Well… at least it’s out of sight!” But very quickly, it became clear it was definitely not out of her mind. She avoided going downstairs altogether. Her children were grown, and she could have turned that space into beautiful guest rooms or a place for them to hang out when they visited. But because the basement was full of clutter, she wasn’t using it at all. She said she felt like such a failure for never dealing with it. For just pushing it downstairs and pretending it wasn’t there. So much for out of sight, out of mind. Even When It’s Hidden, It Still Takes EnergyAnother client had tons of storage. Custom built-ins. Walk-in closets. A four-car garage. And yes, most of her stuff was technically out of sight. But it was very much on her mind. Because she still had to manage it. She still had to label it. She still had to make sure things went back “where they belonged.” She still worried about it. She now had to pay me and my team to help her with it all! Hidden clutter still needs to be dealt with! You Can’t Organize ClutterI say this to my students all the time: All the bins and baskets in the world won’t help if you have too much stuff. If you need to buy things in order to store things…you still have too much stuff. So many women I work with are already very organized. Bins. Labels. Systems. Color coding. And still… they don’t feel calm in their homes. Why? Because all they did was rearrange the excess. Neat clutter is still clutter. The problem was never your organizing skills. It's the volume. Why “Hiding It” Doesn’t Actually WorkThis isn’t just a feeling. It’s how the brain works. Our minds don’t like unfinished business. Even if clutter is hidden in a closet, your brain keeps a quiet note that it’s there. Like an open tab you never closed. That’s why it’s hard to truly relax when you know there’s a garage, basement, or closet you’ve been avoiding. Even tidy clutter. Even labeled clutter. The more you own, the more your brain has to manage. And here’s something wild: Studies have shown that the more stuff a home has, the higher a mother’s stress levels are, even when the clutter is hidden. Hiding clutter doesn’t mean it disappears. And Storage Units? Don’t Get Me Started.People love to say, “I’ll just put it in storage.” But I’ve worked with women who haven’t stepped foot in their storage unit in years. And still… it weighs on them. The monthly bill. The boxes. The thought of “one day” dealing with it. The clutter still owns them. Just from a further distance. The Bottom LineYour home is a Mini Mikdash. It is meant to be a place of shalom. Clutter steals that peace. Even when it’s hidden. So What Can You Do?Instead of storing things, decide about them. Ask yourself: Do I love it? Do I use it? Would I buy it again today? Is it serving my home and family right now? If not… get rid of it. Because out of sight does not mean out of mind. And you deserve a home, and a head, that feel lighter. One Last ThoughtIf you keep telling yourself, “I’ll just stick it in the closet for now,” Know this: That’s a temporary fix for something that deserves a real decision. And if you want help doing this in a fun, supportive, very doable way, that’s exactly what we do inside Home Reset Boot Camp. I walk you through every area of your home, step by step, and make this process feel possible. I’d love to help you create a home that actually feels good to live in 💛 Warmly,Ellie |
THE END!:)BELOW IS ALL EXTRA HOCK!You Can Totally Skip This Part…But if you’re wondering who even am I:Hi 👋 my name is Ellie.I’m the founder (and very enthusiastic voice) behind Frum Minimalism. And yes, my job is basically to convince women to get rid of their junk.Even the stuff you don’t realize is junk. Closets. Cabinets. Basements. Mental load. All of it. Here’s what I believe, very strongly: Your best life doesn’t start one day. Not when things calm down. Not when the kids are older. Not when you finally “have more time.” It starts the moment you begin letting go of what’s weighing you down, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I try to convince women of this through my emails, my blog, podcasts, workshops, and classes. Sometimes gently… and sometimes not so gently 😅 I also go much deeper in my book Frum Minimalism, where I explain why decluttering changes everything, and how to do it in a way that actually lasts. Now here’s the honest truth: Yes, you could keep reading my emails and slowly work on this over months… or even years. And your life would improve if you actually applied what I teach. But you don’t have to do it the slow, hard way. If you’re ready to stop waiting, and you want the best experience, the kind that creates real change quickly, the place to start is Home Reset Boot Camp. It’s a 5-week, step-by-step program where we go room by room, at your own pace. You watch the videos (or listen by phone, no internet required). You do the homework. And you send it in so I can make sure you’re actually doing the work . One student messaged me recently: “I cannot believe I waited this long. I kept telling myself I could do it just by consuming free content online. But within three weeks, my entire life changed.” Another wrote: “What took me so long?! I spent years stuck, and within hours of starting, I already felt like a different person.” And I hear versions of that all the time. |
Now… FAQs (Because You Asked)I’m including these right here because I know some of you can’t open links. Again: peak maximalism 😅 1. MONEY QUESTIONS “I can’t afford this right now.” Respectfully? You can’t afford not to. This isn’t another course. This is the foundation of your entire life. Clutter steals:• your time• your energy• your peace• your money• your productivity• your marriage connection• your parenting presence Women tell me constantly: “I stopped overbuying and rebuying. The course paid for itself in the first week.” Is the sale price still available? Yes, for now. It’s $297 instead of $697. This will increase. Is there a payment plan? Not officially, because the sale price is already deeply discounted. But if you truly need one, message me privately. What’s the success rate? For women who watch the lessons and do the homework: It’s 100%. 2. PRACTICAL QUESTIONS Do I need to buy anything before starting? NO. Please don’t. No bins, no baskets, no organizers. First we simplify. Then we organize. Then, if you truly need something, you shop. Do I need to throw out all my stuff? No. This is not extreme minimalism. Does it work for large homes or multiple floors? Yes. Clutter is clutter. The method works everywhere. What about small apartments/rentals? Yes, huge transformations happen there too. “I have no time.” If you feel like you have no time, get excited. Minimalism creates time. 3. LOGISTICS & STRUCTURE How do I access the Boot Camp? Instant access in the portal. Watch videos or listen by phone. Do I need WhatsApp? No, optional. Can I share it with family? No. One purchase per person. Is it self-paced or 5 weeks? Both. It’s designed as 5 weeks for momentum, but you have one full year access. 4. “IS THIS FOR ME?” Yes, even if you’re already organized. Yes, even if you’re embarrassed. Yes, even if your husband isn’t on board (we do NOT declutter his things). Yes, even if you’re busy, working, pregnant, or juggling real life. Still Have a Question? Email me anytime:courses@frumminimalism.com And remember, I’ll also be hosting a LIVE Q&A in February, iy”H.To submit questions and/or get notified:Email courses@frumminimalism.com |
And One More Thing (So You’re Not Upset I Didn’t Tell You)I’m also running an 8-Week Challenge NOW. This is not about physical decluttering. It’s about decluttering everything else: • mental load• decision fatigue• boundaries• time and commitments• overwhelm• the constant feeling of “too much” How it works: For 8 weeks, you get one clear, practical PDF each week, sent straight to your email. Each one gives you real things to work on (not just ideas to think about). There’s optional community support (WhatsApp or Google chat), but email-only works perfectly. I’m putting all of this right here because I know some of you can’t open links, and I still want you to know exactly what’s available to you 💛 |
P.S. If you’re having email or filter issues and want to join the 8-Week Challenge anyway, you can:
