You have questions. I have answers.
I got SO many responses to the Word of the Year email…
“What exactly is this?”
“How do I hear more?”
“How do I go deeper?”
In today’s email, I want to answer a specific question I received. I actually got a few variations of it, but this woman phrased it so perfectly that I copied her exact words.
" I think most frum women are way too multi-faceted to choose one word. For example, a woman may be trying to be more validating to her teens and also to be more respectful to her husband and also to be more easy in terms of housework and commitments and also be more productive at work and also improve in her self-care.
And in our spiritual world too, we have multiple focus points.
Choosing one word seems so inapplicable. "
Great question! And, I’m going to answer this, but first, let me explain why we’re spending a full week on this inside the 8-Week Challenge.
The Word of the Year is a very deep concept, and it’s something I usually work through one-on-one with my private coaching clients.
That’s exactly why, in Week One of the 8-Week Challenge, we’re going very deep into this idea and breaking it down the same way I do with my own clients.
I want to take a moment to really explain the 8-Week Challenge, so you can see clearly if it’s right for you, because I genuinely believe many of you would get so much out of it.
One student wrote to me yesterday after the first email went out:
“Ellie, I just opened your Week One email and did the homework you suggested, and I feel like I literally had a private 1-on-1 coaching session with you. Even if I only did Week One, I already walked away with so much value, this is way more than I paid.”
That message made my day.
Another 2 did this work together with their husbands!
The first challenge went out yesterday, but you can absolutely catch up.
First things first:
👉 You did NOT miss it.
As soon as you sign up, you get theWeek One PDF immediately.
You can start right away.
What this 8-Week Challenge IS:
I’m a time management and home management coach, and in this challenge I’m taking the strategies I usually work through with my private clients, and breaking them down into weekly, doable challenges.
Based on the feedback from Week One alone, I can already see that the women in the challenge (come join!) are enjoying how I break it down in a very clear, practical, and digestible way.
This challenge includes:
A PDF-based challenge each week
Worksheets, prompts, and homework
A deep dive into different areas of life, not just physical clutter
A focus on actually applying what you learn (not just reading it)
An exclusive Whatsapp chat and / or Google chat for accountability and motivation!
Each week, we’re decluttering a different area, such as:
mental clutter
emotional clutter
boundaries
time and commitments
decision fatigue
and more
This is big stuff, but it’s very doable.
What this challenge is NOT:
It is NOT my Home Reset course
It is NOT a replacement for Home Reset
It is NOT video-based
It is NOT step-by-step physical home decluttering
This is a completely different experience.
About the price:
As a subscriber, you can join for only about $3 a week.
That’s less than a coffee or a muffin, and what you’re getting here is kind of wild for this price!
Don't walk! Runnnnn!!!
I want to be very transparent with you:
I don't think it's evergoing to be this cheap again.
This is the first time I’m running this challenge, I’m giving a lot of value, and I wanted it to be as accessible as possible for this first cohort (the first group).
What’s already been happening inside:
Several women have already chosen their word
Some have created beautiful artwork around it
The conversations have been really meaningful
We opened a Google chat group for anyone who doesn’t use WhatsApp, so there’s still community and accountability
If The Word of the Year’s email spoke to you at all…
If you want to declutter more than just your house…
I truly believe you should join.
You won’t regret it.
Come do this with us 💛
AND NOW, FOR MY ANSWER:
I don’t agree.
I actually believe the opposite is true.
One word isn’t meant to limit you.
It’s meant todeclutter your decisions.
One word gives you one clear focus, and that focus can be applied everywhere.
The same word can guide how you show up with your kids, in your home, in your marriage, and even in how you talk to yourself.
So it’s not one word for one area of life.
It’sone word filtering every area of your life.
That’s Frum Minimalism.
In Frum Minimalism, we choose what we truly need, use, and love, the best, the most aligned and we GET RID OF THE REST.
This is exactly how we approach stuff.
We don’t keep ten items that each serve one small purpose.
We ask:Which single item serves the most purposes?
That’s what creates a calm, functional Frum Minimalist home.
We do the same thing here.
Instead of holding ten words in your head at once, we ask:
Which single word serves the most purposes right now?
Which word helps you show up better with your kids and in your marriage?
Which word supports your homeandyour schedule?
Which word guides both your reactionsandyour decisions?
Instead of constantly asking yourself:
“What should I do here?”
“How should I react?”
“What’s the right move in this situation?”
You ask one simple question:
“What would my word choose?”
I’m not going to go deeper here, because this is exactly what we’re unpacking and practicing inside the 8-Week Challenge.
If this resonated with you, come join us 💛
Use code subscribersonly -it works out to be only about $3 a week for 8 weeks!
Have a beautiful Shabbos 💛
May we be zoche to meet in Yerushalayim b’meheira v’yameinu.
