Shawarma Recipe
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic until they become soft and fragrant.
Add chopped Portobello mushrooms and cook until they begin to release their moisture and soften.
Add small pieces of pargiyot (boneless chicken thighs) to the pan.
Season with black pepper, salt, paprika, cumin, Hawaij, and garlic powder.
Continue cooking until the chicken is fully cooked and the spices are well incorporated.
Serving Suggestion:Serve the shawarma with toasted pitas or fresh laffa, and veggies, and a side of hummus for a complete, flavorful meal.
