Hey there!
I gotta share this with you!
I have literally the best students in the world! Shout out to all you lovely ladies!
One of my students just told me that her Purim theme for Mishloach Manot this year is Frum Minimalism! 😂 OMG!! 😂
How awesome is that?
She's taking all the ideas I've shared and turning them into an actual theme for her family! Including my uniform, which you'll learn all about when you sign up for my amazing course that you NEED to take – so you can get back your life and your time! 😉
I think this theme "Frum Minimalism" should totally be a thing!
We'll give out my logo for stickers and call it a day! 🎉
Since a bunch of you (sweetly) asked, get ready because I'm about to unveil my easy-peasy Purim menu! 🍽️
Now, I totally get it, it might seem super overwhelming at first, but don't worry, because I've got this down to a fine art.
As you know, I'm a minimalist, and my kitchen only has what I need and use, so it truly makes cooking and cleaning quick and easy. Yes! I said easy! 💪
So, do yourselves a favor and stop being a slave to your stuff!
Get rid of your things so your home is serving you, not the other way around. 💡
Need help to learn how to be the master of your home?
Now, onto the menu...
If the sheer thought of this menu makes your head spin, remember what I always tell my students: if you don't need it, use it, or love it, toss it in the trash. Ideas and concepts are included too!
No judgment here, my friend – move along. 😉
But wait! Have you checked out my other Purim articles yet? If not, click here and here to discover how to avoid feeling overwhelmed and drowning in stuff! Let's make this Purim season the best one yet! 🎭
So, let's talk about my Purim seudah – it's not an official sit-down affair. And it's really just for my husband's students and congregants only.
It's an all-day extravaganza! 🎉
We have an open house with food, music, and lots of wine. 🍷
Not everyone who comes by is washing and actually eating their full meal, but they all eat something and drink lots of wine.
Because I have such a simple system, within a mere three hours, I can prepare a seuda for over 100 guests!
Now, I have tricks and hacks and even cheats too - like swiping my mom's leftovers – because she lives out of Jerusalem, which means she celebrates Purim the day before I do.😂
How else do I cheat?
Any food that people bring in for mishloach manot gets served right away!
That way, I am not stuck with leftovers!
Another cheat, some of the guys are great with meats, so I get some great perks! We set up a meat bar for them, and they do their cool stuff!
So, I do get lucky with all my bonuses contributions.
But, they are just bonuses, and they are not necessary for you to create your easy-peasy purim seudah!
Here's the menu of things I make:
Challah rolls and (store-bought) pita
A couple of sides of salmon with olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon
Tons of Salatim – I am good at making these super quickly. If you join my course, you'll learn how!
Fresh salads- I buy salad mixes, and this year, I'm even going to buy store-bought salad dressings! (another cheat!)
Chopped meat with hummus on plates
A couple of roasts
Green beans
Rice
Oven-baked schnitzel nuggets (I have an awesome hack on how to do this quickly)
A bunch of deli rolls, meat, and potato borekas, franks and blanks
mushroom sauce
Dessert table (Not trying to be annoying, but I teach how to do this super easily in my course too!)
So there you have it, my friend, a glimpse into my Purim feast. And hey, if you're tempted to learn more, well, let's just say the best is yet to come – all inside my course, of course! (pun intended) 😉
